Purpose and publisher
These Terms govern access to the MyMediBox website and mobile app published by Alivency, a French single-member limited liability company (EURL) with share capital of €1,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 107 165 458, VAT number FR71107165458, whose registered office is at 14 Rue Bausset, 75015 Paris, France.
Acceptance and territories
By using MyMediBox, users accept these Terms. The service is being prepared for simultaneous availability in France and the United States. Features, medicine data sources, pricing and legal rights may vary by country or U.S. state.
Service
- Medication schedules, reminders and intake tracking.
- Medication, prescription and scanned-document organization.
- Medication stock and refill support.
- Optional Premium or Family functionality where offered.
Health disclaimer
MyMediBox is not a medical device. Reminders, OCR/scan results and medicine information are organizational aids only. Users must verify all imported information and seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist. Never delay emergency care because of information displayed by the app.
User responsibilities
- Provide and verify accurate information.
- Keep device access and backups secure.
- Use sharing features only with authorized recipients.
- Comply with applicable law and refrain from disrupting or reverse-engineering the service except where law expressly permits.
Subscriptions and Apple payments
Where paid features are offered, purchases, renewals, refunds and cancellations are handled through Apple StoreKit under the terms displayed in the App Store and the user’s Apple account. MyMediBox does not process card payments on this website.
Family and sharing features
Sharing a subscription through Apple Family Sharing is separate from sharing reminders or data within MyMediBox.
When a MyMediBox auto-renewable subscription is configured as eligible in App Store Connect, the subscriber may share access with up to five additional members of their Apple Family Sharing group. Actual sharing depends on the subscription type, Alivency’s App Store configuration, Apple availability, and the subscriber’s sharing preferences. The subscriber can turn subscription sharing off in Apple subscription settings, and each family member continues to use their own Apple Account.
Family Sharing grants access only to eligible subscription benefits. It does not automatically give another family member access to health, medication, treatment or reminder data. Sharing MyMediBox content requires a separate, explicit action or invitation within the app. Apple controls family-group membership and shared-purchase eligibility; its rules and availability may change.
Availability and changes
The service may evolve or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, legal or technical reasons. Alivency does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where required.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alivency is not liable for indirect loss, missed reminders caused by device settings or outages, incorrect user-entered or unverified scanned information, or reliance on MyMediBox for a medical decision. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Intellectual property
MyMediBox, Boxy and related software and content belong to Alivency or its licensors. No ownership right is transferred to users.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains local app storage, optional iCloud synchronization, website hosting logs and user rights.
On the website, PostHog remains absent until explicit consent. If accepted, it measures page views, visible sections, useful clicks, page exits, visit duration, bounce rate, scroll depth and technical Web Vitals through European endpoints, without autocapture, session replay, identification, health data or free-form entries. Refusing or withdrawing consent through the footer does not affect access to the website.
In the app, PostHog analytics is also optional and governed by a separate choice in Settings. If accepted, selected usage events, feature outcomes, technical failures and crash diagnostics are linked to a random pseudonymous identifier. The IP address is processed briefly and then discarded solely to infer an approximate geographic area without GPS. Medication names, OCR text, scanned prescriptions, stock levels, appointments, business identifiers and quantities are excluded.
Consumer mediation
A French consumer must first submit a written complaint to hello@alivency.com. The identity and contact details of the competent consumer mediator will be published before any paid French consumer offer for which mediation is required.
Governing law and disputes
French law governs these Terms. Mandatory protections and courts available to consumers in their country or U.S. state of residence remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
The version published on the date of use applies. Material changes will be communicated where required. Questions and complaints can be sent to hello@alivency.com.
